Hotmail Plus with POP3 problems

Anyone give me a fix? Here is the problem: Have two systems one running
Outlook 2003 and another with Outlook 2002 Getting mail from POP3 server. As
of 6-26-07 can no longer get POP3 to work. Contacted support with no results
(canned responses) don't even think they read the letter. Anyway I have used
Hotmail Plus servers and also Hotmail Live servers and get the following:

Task 'HotMail - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact
your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Task 'pop3.live.com - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) :
'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password
in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server
responded: AERR command failed'

Again this is paid account that does have POP3 access per Microsoft, also
told by Jomary M. Window Live Hotmail Technical Support, "On the other hand,
yes, you still have access to the POP3 server."

What has changed that there is no longer access? Support desn't seem to help
at all. Nothing on my systems has changed problem must be on Hotmail end or
some other changes I have not been told about.

I have been working with their support. They tell me how to set up the email
account which is already there and set up correctly. Thought someone here may
have the answer and is having the same problem. It appears there are a lot of
POP3 problems lately.

I also loaded the Outlook connector to see if it would work. It also gives
the following error:

Errors :

Time: 7/5/2007 3:36:50 PM
Error in Mail
Outlook Connector is available only to subscribers.

I am a subscriber!!! This is getting vey annoying!
I know my settings worked and no new programs installed but will not connect
to POP3.

Did you install the beta connector or the old one? The old only works with
paid accts - the new one only works with accts converted to live accts.

Did you create a new profile or are you trying to edit the old one? Make a
new profile using a new name. if that fails, try the live community help
forums.
