Error message

I am receiving the following error message

Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site
http://?????????
Operation aborted.

(the question marks above are filled in with whatever web
address I happen to be on at the time of the error)

This happens to one in every approx. 10 web pages that I
visit. It has been happening for about a month.

If I go to the same site with Netscape there are no error
messages.
I am using Windows XP Pro and using IE
6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633

Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.
