Error Message

I just started getting an error message that I've never
seen before.

When I invoke any Microsoft programs, Windows generates a
screen asking for the installation disk. It then asks me
for an pro.msi file which I cannot locate on the
installation disk.

What in the heck is going on here?

Hi,

This sounds very much like an incomplete Office
installation. Have you recently reinstalled/servicepacked
Microsoft Office ?. I would look on the Office CD for this
file and if you can't see it reinstall Office (you may not
have the Office CD if you bought the computer from a
vendor, in which case speak to them)

Regards,

Tim

I thought the same as you. So, I reinstalled XP from the
same installation disk that I originally used. And, I
checked the installation disk for the file - but, it is
not there!

I'm stumped!
