I just started getting an error message that I've never
seen before.

When I invoke any Microsoft programs, Windows generates a
screen asking for the installation disk. It then asks me
for an pro.msi file which I cannot locate on the
installation disk.

What in the heck is going on here?

Note: I did a complete reinstall of Window XP and I am
still getting the error message!
..

I believe I have the same problem, I know that I am missing a fil
called pro.msi. I don't know too much about computers, is there som
kind of file I can download to fix this problem? Also I realize thi
post may be old and abondoned but I would greatly appreaciate it i
someone took it up

Kelly replied a couple years ago to a similar issue with the website
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm which is helpful. Just
go to this page and find pro.msi. Click on the link that is found and
it will update your registry which will fix the error without having to
install the pro.msi file. Hope this helps
