Error message when trying to install programs from CD--help me ple

I am trying to install a program from CD-ROM. Last week this worked just
fine, but now any CD I try to install, I get this error message:
C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\AutoExec.nt:The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications

I really need to know how to fix this! Please help me!
