I am getting an error message every time I try to install a cd-rom. It
doesn't even matter which one. My driver will let me play a dvd or a music
cd, but will not install anything. The error is:

C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.nt The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.

I have contacted everyone I can to get this fixed, but no one can seem to
help. Is there anyone out there who can Help me??????

Thank you very much for your responce, but I have already tried that. I was
given that web page by the company I bought the cd-rom from. I tried
everything on there and it did not help. I contacted dell, because I bought
the computer through them, and they wouldn't help. Said my year warranty was
up. I am going to try expanding from my xp cd and if that doesn't work, I
will re-install and hope that fixes the problem.

Thanks again,
Laura
