I keep receiving error messages everytime I try to install a software I
seriously need help.

Error message is:

C:Windows/system32/Autoexec.nt.
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft windows
applications Choose 'close' to terminate the application.

Does anyone know what I should do here I really need to install that software.

First basic issue is: Is this program a DOS program or a Windows program ( and ideally a XP-compatible program)?

If it is a true Windows program, you should not be getting this message.

Please post back with program name / version/ and publisher ---- ideally including program version number.

IF you have a removable storage drive (like Zip drive or USB drive), make sure that Pagefile.sys is NOT on a removable drive. That would lead to your error message.

Take a close look at the Windows\System32 folder (or yours may be WINNT\System32) :
One or all of the following files "may" be corrupt or missing:
Autoexec.nt
Config.nt
Command.com

PS. Look for a Readme file on the program's media. Readme files are great for finding exact setup requirements.
Another afterthought, is this program on a CD / diskette / or are you trying to run setup from an external drive?
