16 bit windows subsystem error message

when I try to install programs from some CD's the computer displays message
c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running
ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. The same programs can be instaled
on my friends computer without problems. Can anyone help me with this.

Hi

Copy/paste the autoexec.NT file from the windows\repair folder to the
windows\system32 folder. Then try the installation again.
