Hi, I am trying to install a program that I have had for a few years, but
since last week, when I went to install it again, it wouldnt install, yet it
installed on my friends computer?????
The Program is : Hotmetal pro 4.0

Additional info: came with cd Practical Internet cd rom. on menu of autoplay.
click install and then this message comes up

"16 bit Windows Subsystem : C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file
is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose
'Close' to terminate the application."

Can someone please advise me why or how to combat this....

Thank you

Will,
I hate to tell ya but...I've tried and tried and tried that suggestion
without any luck. UNless I'm doing something wrong (possibly). ANy other
suggestions? You could walk me thru step by step cuz I can't find the
config.nt file to see if it is corrupt. I'ver written to note pad 3 times,
copy and pasted til i'm blue and still no luck. It seems to affected all my
older software since I downloaded SP2!!!
HELP!!!!
