Hi,
After I installed SP2, I can not run some software: Simcity2000, Tertris,
Best Business letter ..... , and received the message from pop up windows:
16 bit windows Subsystem
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for runing
MS-Dos and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

Best regards,
Quentin Ho

Many thanks. I've just spent 2.5 hours looking for something helpful on this
error and although I haven't tried it yet I think you are right. Already
found that KB324767 is useless because autoexec.nt gets deleted as you
reboot. Norton Antivirus has picked up 2 instances of this file you mention
which it says is an Adware.BlazeFind threat.

I have the same symptoms but I was not able to find the windupdate.exe folder
or file. Does Windows Explorer search completely when you select hidden
folders ? Do you know of any other malware that can cause this?
