Anyone got any ideas how to get round the following problem:

16 BIT Subsystem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

I also have this problem and with trying to run drivers for a scanner. I
found article 324767 unhelpful and unworkable. Are there other ways of
surmounting this problem with XP?
