Error Message When Installing

When trying to install Windows XP Home Edition, I receive
the error message: "Manifest Parse Error: An invalid
character was found in text content." If anybody could
help me as to how I can fix this it would be GREATLY
appreciated. If you could please contact me via e-mail it
would be great because I am not sure if I can figure out
how to find this message board again. Thanking you in
advance for your assistance.

That particular error message is indicative of a poor CD burn or
corrupt file image. The solution is to install Windows XP using
the original Microsoft Windows XP CD with the edge-to-edge
hologram image.

What do you mean with the "edge-to-edge hologram image?" I
just bought the CD. Thanks.
