Error message loading XP pro

Parker

Hi,
I just purchased a new copy of XP pro. I am getting an error message
"0x0000006f , 0xc0000020 and 3 of 0x00000000" some hardware or software is
incorrectly loaded. I had a previous version of same and it did not give me
this error on install. (I lost this copy and purchased new). Any ideas of
what the problem is? Do I need to contact the motherboard company? I'm at
a loss!

Thank You

If the OS won't install on the hardware, then it is incompatible with that hardware. Either get a new OS, or
get new hardware.

XP Pro is supposed to be able to tell you what is not acceptable to it in a human readable form. That's the
purpose of its evolution. However, (taking the) Mickey$haft probably need you to reformat all your drives
before changing the OS to itself (a different copy).

It smacks of too much hassle. We've all heard of TCO (total cost of ownership), but what about TSO (total
stress of ownership)? It seems to increase with each incarnation of the Windows OS. Try installing Linux, and
see if you have the same problems (I bet not!!).
