error message in record in access regarding search key not found

I have a record in Access 2000 that I can't delete. When I try to delete it,
it states the search key was not found in any record. I have deleted most of
the cells, but some will not let me as the same error comes up. There is
also information in these cells that I didn't enter and now I can't remove
them. What can I do to delete this record?
