"the search key was not found in any record"

I use access 2000, in an xp professional environment. Something happened to
a record so now I get straggles where the last and first name fields were. I
want to delete the record, but I get a popup stating "the search key was not
found in any record."

Any solutions. I am not a programmer

You will need to copy all the records from before this record to
another table. Then copy all the records after this record to the
same table.

Cut and paste or append queries should work.

Then delete the old table and relationships, rename the new table and
setup the relationships again.
