ERROR MESSAGE AFTER BOOTING THE COMPUTER

Lately, after I have booted the computer, the computer
hangs-up, the computer's screen stays blank and on the
computer's speaker I receive the following unending
message:

YOUR MEMORY WE HAVE A PROBLEM


Why and how can I correct this problem.

Sounds like a pretty heavy virus to me.
I'd go after it with your virus checker.
You DO have one don't you?
