Error code: 0x800ccc0f (Email)

A friends email program has become troublesome which results in the
displaying of error code 0x800ccc0f. She can receive email but not send any,
I have looked at the pop3/smtp server names and it all checks out correctly.
Please can somebody help.

Nancy, if she's using Outlook Express she can do a reinstall of that and
Internet Explorer. Check here
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318378 If she doesnt have IE6 go to
WindowsUpdate site and download it.

Disable email scanning by the anti-virus application.
