Error 1606

I have just upgraded to XP Pro from '98 and my Palm
software was no longer working. It won't let me
uninstall or reinstall. I keep getting the error:

Error 1606 Could not access ntwork locations
::\Documents and Settings\Default\Send To

Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions?
