Error 1402: Can not open key: - Anyone know how to totally remove this program for a 'new' install

I know others get this
I tried everything to get rid of it and it won't uninstall either. Can't
find the dang msi file. Maybe if I had access to the last betas msi file I
could get it to work ?

Anyways I can't update as I get this message


Error 1402: Can not open key:
UNKNOWN\MSComCtl2.Animation.2\CLSID
Verify you have sufficient access to that key.

Then I tried deleting it and running a regclean to clear out all instances
( or so I thought it would )
It still trys to update and fails vs giving me a 'new' install dialog

Anyone know the fix for this ?

It worked fine and then it timed out on me and that is when my problem
started
Can't use the old and can't update/remove/reinstall the new beta

Please ensure that you are logged in under the same account that first
installed the original version of MSAS when you are trying to update to the
new version. This account must be one that has Administrator rights.

I did that first, ugh.
I am lost to this problem
It must be the hard drive I replaced ;./
I did a mirror and when I rebooted the PC it all had the same users, in fact
I just had one
Confused that's for sure
