Error 1402. Could not open key

I am trying to install an upgrad to Quickbooks Premier Version on my
Workstation. I installed it successfully on the server, but not on my
Workstation. During installation on my Workstation I get an error, it reads:

Error 1402. Could not open key.
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ ...\CLSID"

It says to contact Quickbooks Support. I contacted them and they said that
this is a Microsoft Windows Error to contact Microsoft.

This sounds like your workstation user doesn't have permissions to write
to that key (as s/he shouldn't in a properly run domain). Intuit is
notorious for requiring administrative privileges for their poorly
written application.

I have our IT person coming in the morning. I'll let you know what he does
to make it work.
