Error 0x80ee000c error in messenger

Hello everyone i have a question. When i try to start whiteboard with my
friends i get a The network or the computer that you are trying to contact is
not responding.The network or the computer that you are trying to contact is
experiencing a problem. Try again later. Error 0x80ee000c error. involving
the sip network? I'm using messenger 7.0. i know this is a known issue but
microsoft doesn't help and so far niether does google. so i was wondering if
anyone knew how to fix this if i can be
