Can't remote assist with others

OK, here goes. I was using Windows messenger, but was
told that to many hackers wwere getting into systems that
way a changed to MSN Messenger. Now the problem is that
when I need to ddo a remot assistance or a voice
conversation, it say that there is a problem. I can send
files to my clients, but when it come to application
sharing, remote assistance, or voice it won't. I reaally
need some help. I'm running Windows XP Pro on a Pentium
4, 2.6 gHz, broaudband internet connection with a router
to the other computer in my office. When I ask someone
foe remote assistance I get this error that it can't
resolve host error. "The network or the computer that
you are trying to contact is not responding. The network
or the computer that you are trying to contact is
experiencing a problem. Try again later. Error 0x80ee000c
SIP Transaction timed out"

Now I can do a remote assistance with the other computer,
or I mean it can do it with me, but not the application
sharing.

I really need some hellp on this.

Thanks
Nick
