I cannot change the paper size to 7 inch length in order
to print checks on XP Professional.

Jim:
Go to your server, pull up the printers, select the
printer you want to print checks from and hit print server
properties. the 1st tab will be forms and create a new
form for your checks with a 7" length. hope that helps...
