Epson CX3200 poor print

My reasonably well used Epson CX3200 now has quite poor print quality (text is fuzzy even on higher print quality) - I have tried new carts but it doesn't seem any better. I have also tried using the head cleaning carts but still no luck.

Any ideas? or is it off the tip.

Have you tried to align the print heads? If you've tried new carts then it's the only thing I can think of:
