.....encountered a problem and needs to close

im trying to help someone get passed a error message that i cant reproduce.
Heres the problem:

My client is using windows xp accessing our online real estate site. When
she attempts to send emails from our built in email function within the
program, the program is then supposed to launch the default email program
(outlook express) and fill in a predefined subject and message body. However,
her email program does not open and she gets an error message of "....has
encountered an error message and needs to close." The reason i use an
ellipses is because she has tried using IE 7 and Firefox2 and the error
message still appears yet i cannot get the same error message to appear using
either browser.

Short of uninstalling SP2 in attempt to repair OE or have her use Mozilla
Thunderbird, im not sure how to correct this problem. Can anyone help please?

Much Obliged!

The problem seems to be with OE, not with the browser, or link that
calls up the email. This Help site may have an answer:
