Hi Dick,

Get the"Emptemp" program. It's free. At one touch of a button it will empty
your TIF folder together with any others you care to add. E.g. for me it
empties Cookies,History,Recent, Temp and TIF, all at once.

Good Luck.

I just tried the program. I attempted to delete all
files from TIF except cookies. I could not configure
Emptemp to accomplish that. Going to IE, Tools,
Internet Options, etc. does remove all files except
cookies.

The first method doesn't give me the option, but the second does.
It would be nice if I could put a shortcut on the desktop to do the job.
Thanks,
Dick

Hello again Dick,

You originally said you wanted to empty the Temporary Internet Folder
without opening IE. "Emptemp" does that. Now you want to empty the TIF
without deleting cookies. That's a different story..................

Sorry you were disappointed.

Checking Internet Explorer on that window should give you a desktop shortcut
for Internet Explorer. If you right click that shortcut and choose
Properties you should get the Internet Options and can click Clear Files.
