empty files after publishing

I am working in FP2000 on a website that I saved to my computer and then published to the internet. I view it in a browser, it looks good, I close out FP. The next time I have to open that file, I enter the domain name and password and all the files come up but they are all empty files showing 0kb and if I try to open them, I get an error saying that Front Page has quit responding.

This is a website for our homeowners association, and another woman is also working on it, but in FP2003. Is this a possible problem after she saves her changes in the newer version then I cannot open it? Or do you have any other ideas or fixes?

Does this happen when you open the "live" site, or
when you open your local site?

Also, does teh problem site still browse OK?

That would be unusual, but I suppose it's possible. Do
you know what kind of changes she's making or what
features she's using?

Try this. In Windows Explorer,

1. Find and delete all FP Temp Files. By default, these reside in
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\FrontPageTempDir.
2. In Windows Explorer, find and delete all hidden *.web files
3. In Windows Explorer, find and delete the cmdui.prf file.

If that doesn't do, it, ask your administrator or host to run the
"Server Health Detect and Repair" process on your server.
