Email rules

We have recently upgraded our server to Microsoft Exchange and whereas
previously I was able to handle my incoming emails via around 100 rules,
apparently the maximum number of rules allowed is now somewhere between 40
and 50.
Any suggestions as to how to increase this number? Thanks

I thought this was an Exchange version-dependent value (i.e., Enterprise vs.
Standard), but reading some articles in the MSKB doesn't support that
