For some reason I am now not able to get the Email a Photo
Wizard to activate. It used to pop up and prompt to reduce
the photo size but now large photos just go directly to the
email as an attachment. Is there a registry or other setting
for this?

Ramesh,

I think that was a very good suggestion, however I
downloaded and installed it and nothing shows up on my
right-click menu as the site says it should. Found an older
Power Toys installation so I uninstalled the Image Resizer,
then the Power Toys, reinstalled the Resizer, rebooted and
still nothing. It is supposed to be on the right-click menu
when you click on a JPG, correct? Any other ideas?

Gary,

Open the JPG with Windows Picture viewer and right-click the image to resize it.

To set Windows Picture Viewer as default, type "regsvr32 /i shimgvw" in the RUN box.

That works. Thanks.

Still would like to get the resize option on an email like
there used to be (for my wife's sake <gr>).

If Windows recognizes the file as an image type, [PerceivedType for the filetype], it pop-ups the Resize image option when you choose "email this file". The command "regsvr32 /i shimgvw" should fix the Perceived Types problem.

Most welcome, Gary. Should have cleared it in the first attempt, though :(
