truuble sending photos with email

O

oldmanlat

Hi.
I've always sent photos by right clicking, on a photo, in the context menu,
I selected "Send To", then "Mail Recipient"
A box pops up asking me if I want to re-size the photo.
I select "make My Pictures Smaller"
It would then take me to email program, all I had to do do is select a
recipient, and send the mail w/ pics.
Now when I right click on a photo, "Send To", "Mail Recipient" I no longer
get the pop-up window for re-sizing it takes me directly to email for sending.
It still sends ok, but the photos are huge.
Please help. I really miss this feature.
Thanks.

Make sure no programs are running. (IE, OE, etc.).

Copy and paste the command in Start | Run:

REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL

Click OK and reboot. Turn off and power back up. Don't use Turn Off |
Restart.

Or:

Disable [or Enable] Resize Graphic - Send To (Line 269, Left Side)

This explains how to create the registry entries required.

He obviously has a spelling problem so his registry edits will be
suspect from day one.
