I use Pegasus, but nothing to do with boredom. At one time I needed to
manipulate and produce distribution lists using external text editor. The
Pegasus list uses a text file. It is however a very nice mail program.
Eudora is another one, but there's nothing wrong with OE except it being the
favorite target of malicious intent, just keep upto date with MS security
patches.

I prefer Mozilla which provides a web browser, email and news client,
and and web page editor if you want that. The browser is terrific with
it's tabbed viewing. It blocks pop-ups very effectively. The mail
client works well. Has all the bells and whistles that are needed, and
is integrated well with the browser. Did I mention the tabs? Very nice.

If you really want to annoy your friends, you could get Incredimail.


Otoh, how could you be "bored" with OE. It sends/reads email &
newsgroups. What more would you want it to do?
