hello,,
i have been fruitlessly trying to download a program or set up my system to be able to write in japanese........i have window xp home edition,,,,i have tried downloading global ime,,,,,and also for office xp but neither work,,,,,ive tried to change the settings under the regional and language settings box,,,,,i have the little language bar and can choose japanese,,,,but if i go to microsoft word i cannot write in japanese...please help me so that i can begin to type in japanese,,,,,,,thank you

First, you shouldn't have downloaded the Japanese IME since your XP CD
already has a copy of the Asian language IMEs. (if you have a retail
or OEM version). You probably have not done the installation
correctly. Go to the following web site and follow his very good
instructions and examples.
