East Asian Languages

I would like to use an online translator for English to Japanese
translations. I tried installing the East Asian Languages but during the
process I continually get error messages saying a wide variety of files are
not found on the CD. XP Pro only came with one CD. I have since downloaded
SP2. Why will these languages and IMEs not install?

Hi,

Do you have Retail version of Windows XP or an OEM version.

If you have a retail version of Windows xp, you can install East Asian
Language support without any problems by following the instructions in the
link given below:

However some of the OEM manufactures, separate out the East Asian Language
Support module from from the OEM OS CD and give it as a free download. This
is mainly done to conserve space in the CD. For downloading the East Asian
Language support you have to contact the OEM Technical support.

Thanks Vijay. This IS helpful as I do have an OEM version. I'll contact my
vendor now.
