Earthlink tries to block IE

After I installed my Earthlink software, IE would not
remember my password. When I check the connection tab
under tools, the "never dial a connection" tab is
checked. No matter how many times I change it, it still
goes back. During these times, the saved password will
not be recognized and I have to clear the password and
retype password in to connect. What gives?
 
One or more of the files that you downloaded from Earthlink overwrote an IE
file. Reinstall IE should fix the problem.
