EabServr.exe on hp?

If this is for use on Compaq laptops, how come I have it on an hp
laptop? And do I need to keep it?

Apparently it's for use with the quick-launch buttons, and I can't
find anything else running on my computer to use those buttons, so I
guess they just use the Compaq equipment for hp computer. And there
was I hoping to get rid of another useless process.
