e-mail using Internet shortcuts

When I click on a link to send a reply in a news letter
or whatever,I get a message saying(cannot send mail-no
mail program is set up to send mail using Internet
shortcuts.) This has just started happening in the last
couple of months,before that it worked just fine.Can
someone please help?
 
Set Outlook express (or your favorite mail client as default)
Open IE > Tools > Options > Programs
Set the default mail client
