Hello experts

I have a new Dell 2400 w/ Windows XP Home. I use Outlook Express for mail. When I hit email links on websites I get the message "Problem with Shortcut. Cannot send email. No mail program is set up to send mail using Internet shortcuts.

I have tried to remedy this when in IE by going to Tools - Internet Options - Programs Tab but the blank E-mail field provides no options when I click the pull-down arrow nor can I manually enter "Outlook Express."

Is this a simple fact of life for the programs I am running or am I missing something?

I'll check back in a couple days for any replies.

Thanks, Brian

Try from the OE end - Tools - Options and next to '. . . . .Mail
Handler' on the second line from bottom. click 'Make Default'
