DVD -RW Read Only???

I am using a DVD -RW disc within my ASUS DRW-0402P
drive. I copy a ''Non'' Read Only file from my hard
drive to the DVD -RW, however when the file arrives onto
the DVD -RW disc itbecomes Read Only and I am unable to
change the files properties from Read Only to ''Non''
Read Only. I ahve contacted ASUS who have informed me
that the problem lies not with the drive itself but with
my system set up. Could anybody please advise ???

You must install a UDF driver such as InCD from Nero or Direct CD from Roxio to use the DVD-RW as a hard drive.
