DVD Rom plese help tyler

i have a windows XP Profsinall lap top with a DVD Rom drive but when i put in the DVD it sits for 5 minuts then pops up with a mesage that ses "Windows can not read this disk it may be crupted or using a format that is not compatible with windows" what shuld i do. thank you.

with all the problems you have posted here...you should NEVER own a
computer.
