dvd/cd burner problems

I just purchased a new Pioneer DVD-RW burner and have installed the software
that came with it (Nero 7) but when I try to burn a photo CD or music CD it
goes through all of the steps like it would normally do to burn a CD and then
I get a driver error message and it says I have an "invalid write state" and
"could not perform EndTrack" and then "burn process failed". Can anyone help
me? Thank you!

-- Have you checked the pioneer website for drive and firmware updates for
your drive? I also use Nero 7 and I have gone round and round trying to get
it to function properly. I recommend looking to the Nero website for software
updates, Last I was there, I was able to upgrade to a higher version for
free, as Nero seems to acknowledge on some level the flawed nature of many of
their previous Nero 7 releases, Now Nero 7 is working flawlessly for me. The
newest version addresses some driver conflicts, perhaps there you will find a
solution.
Hope that helps you. Good Luck J
