DV Camera (Poss Driver Issue???)

Scott

Hey,
Just a quick question to see if anyone has any ideas on this 1

basically I have a JVC DV camera and am trying to get my system to pick it
up, but without success.

Its connected using Firewire 1394 cable but windows fails to detect the
camera (and yes its switched on to the right mode)
I have a 1394 Interface card (supplied by pinnacle) & 1394 on my Creative
sound blaster Audigy Plat Ex (connecting to neither seems to work)
I've tried the following with no success
1. uninstall and reinstall the 1394 interface drivers
2. Disable 1 and try the other (for both interfaces)
3. swap the cards around to diff pci slots
4. ran the hardware detection wiz

The camera works on another system using the same separate pci interface
card (supplied by pinnacle)

:: sys specs :: (if any use)
