Dual boot wiith Windows XP MCE 2005 and Vista

Hi,

I have dual booted my PC with MCE2005 on the C Drive and Vista (5308) on the
D Drive.

I did something rather stupid and cannot get XP to work now as the display
has been set to a ridiclus resolution.

I cannot boot into safe mode and better still Enable VGA mode as the "F8"
option is not available on the XP install only Vista.

MCE was installed first and Vista later.

I have been into vista and change the start up option saying boot MCE first
but this doesn't work?

Please help.

Try rt clicking on the Vista Desktop and select
Properties>Settings>Advanced. First check Monitor>Properties>Driver.
If there's one note it down and then do a Search for and Delete on the
C: Drive. If no Monitor Driver then do the same
for the Graphics Card Driver. Restart and see if that will let you in.

Will I be able to tell WinXP to boot in VGA mode using BCDEDIT or am I
missing the point. I also cannot find the boot.ini on the C dirve where XP
is installed?

My idea was to delete either the Monitor driver or the Graphic Card
driver or both. This should allow WinXP to reinstall
or reset the problematic resolution when restarted.
