A friend has XP Pro and was using the XP Boot Manager to dual boot....
system A and system B.
Last night he installed Boot Magic and now can't boot properly
He gets the choices of the 2 systems but only system A will actually boot.
When he chooses system B it proceeds to the blue 'welcome' screen and stops
there. Never gets to the desktop.
He tried Recovery Console but it asked for the Admin password that he
couldn't find at the time
He then tried a Repair Install. It was going okay til it asked for his
Admin password. He finally found what he's sure is the password but setup
won't accept it. Now he can't get anywhere because booting automatically
resumes setup. Anyone have any suggestions?
