I see a question mark, but you haven't actually asked a question. Your
friend doesn't need our permission to do what he wants with his own
computer.

Sorry about that, the whole thing was actually the question.
His computer has a dual boot, and he just wants windows xp and want to know
how to stop the dual boot from coming up?
He would like to delete win2000 professional.
I am unsure, but assume it would have to be partitioned to dual boot?
Would all he has to do is format the partition with
win2000 professional?
Would he have to edit the boot.ini?
thanks
