Getting rid of dual boot

G

Gerald Bramwell

Hi,

I've got Windows 98SE and XP home on my PC as a dual boot. Windows 98SE
is on a small C partition and Windows XP home is on a larger D
partition. I would like to get rid of the dual boot option and remove
the Windows 98SE files and if possible combine the C and D partitions.

Thanks
Gerald

Though you cannot combine both partitions
to get rid of win98 you can delete anything on the C: drive *except* for the
root directory entries

then remove the win98 reference in boot.ini
