DSL will only work when other computer is on dial-up

I just got DSL 2 days ago, and since then it hasn't been connceting properly at all. It wasn't until last night that I figured out that my other computer (i have a 2-computer network) had to be online using dial-up for me to be able to use my high-speed DSL. I'm sure that there is some setting I need to fix but have no idea what to do. Please help.

Max,

With DSL working, dialup shouldn't be required. How does your DSL connect? How
does each computer connect?

Here are a couple websites with useful tutorials that may help:
http://www.cablesense.com/
http://www.homenethelp.com/

Please provide ipconfig information for each computer.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad, copy and paste into your next post.
Label each ipconfig with name and version of operating system.

Cheers,
Chuck
Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
