Dial-Up Connecton prompt, but I'm on DSL

Hi All,

I'm not sure what the issue is, but for some reason my laptop keeps having a
"Dial-Up Connection" box pop up prompting me to connect or work offline. I
connect to a router via a wireless connection that is encrypted, and
connected directly to my DSL modem. When this prompt comes up I click
connect, which nothing happens, then I connect cancel and close the box.
When I click on a link in IE, I get an error message that I need to connect
or work offline, this time when I click connect it works. After several
minutes I have to go through the same thing.

I'm not sure what is wrong, I thought that with my DSL everything should
work without going through this. I do not have ANY dial up service.

Please let me know what I can do to stop this neverending loop.

Have you gone into Internet Explorer, Tools tab, Internet Options
selection and either removed the dial-up connection or made sure that
the Never dial a connection button is selected?
