Downloading only 1st 32 seconds of songs

This just started happening to me. I downloaded a bunch of songs from
BearShare and can only play the 1st 32 seconds of each song - then it starts
over but looks like it's making progress on Windows Media Player's play
screen. I then downloaded other songs from Kazaa and went to play them with
WMP and even with Winamp and they keep repeating the 1st 32 seconds of each.
I then burned them to a cd to see if that'd be different but it's the same.
It seems to only be the downloaded songs. I ripped a cd and it played fine.
Help!!

This problem has been discussed here before. They are probably faulty
tracks deliberately placed on peer-to-peer services to discourage you
from pirating music.
