Windows media player 11 info wrong

Hi, I just bought a new 14 track CD & I want to rip it to my WMP11. When
WMPlayer opened up the CD , there was no media info. I took out the CD and
reinserted it and now it shows up along with album art along with song names.

HOWEVER, the songs are wrong. there is one song on there that is lieted
there 3-4 times & on
one its even misspelled. The CD started playing right away in the correct
order as listed in the CD Box. But, according to WMP, the song playing now
is wrong in name. SOme song names are even missing. But there are 14 tracks
listed in WMP with half the songs in the wrong order and wrong names,- what
must I do. I want to rip these tracks for safe keeping in my pc but want it
to be done with right names/right track number, so on.... please help
PS windows xp home edition

You state "I just bought a new 14 track CD". Where did you purchase it?
It is obvious many of the TAGS are incorrect. You'll need a TAG editor
to correct the music files on your harddrive. Below are many music file
apps for you to look at and use. MP3Trim has a TAG editor.

the tracks I expect. (i.e. "The Letter" by the Box Tops but says it is
playing "We Ain't Got Nothing Yet" by the Blues Magoos!) Every song is
wrong and the Album title is wrong too! I would be suspicious that the tags

I also have the same problem, sometimes it shows the right info sometimes.
They need to fix this problem i know some times the info is given by Windows
Media Player is wrong. but the one i'm having is an DVD Music Concert.
Sometimes it has done the same with me a regular cd album.
