Windows Media Player 11

I like wmp11, had all of my music albums on it, fine. But today i go into it
and there is 2 of every track. Don't want to individually delete the 2nd of
every song but have spent hours deleting all albums from library then
re-adding to try to get back to only one of evrey song on my albums. But
the only option that seems to work is "add files previously deleted from my
computer". This just puts all the info back on wmp11 library (2 of every
song). Is this a noahs ark program or is there a simple way to rectify
this???

Did you upgrade from WMP10 to WMP11 or uninstalled 10 then
install 11? It looks like you still have both versions installed and
thus doubling your files. Do some troubleshooting BEFORE deleting
any of the so called "duplicates".
